WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDINGS, TOWERS AND MASTS (with foot lines)
I couldn't find a single drawing showing all three together.  So I created one!  I added Tokyo Tower, Eiffel Tower, Seattle Space Needle, and the Great Pyramid in Giza just for comparison.  Full disclosure, every state in the US has one or two 2,000 foot masts for broadcasting.  But that would make for a boring drawing, so I'm only showing the tallest one, which I drew myself!  I also created this chart because I don't like how most similar charts include unfinished, and in some cases, unstarted buildings.  There's also a lot of controversy over the best way to identify a building's official height.  The current method has resulted in a lot of shorter buildings with tall spires on top!  As well as buildings being designed and built with unoccupied, and in many cases, unusable floors at the top.  This is called "vanity space".  I'm not going to fight it once a building drops off the top three.  But you might notice I, and some competing charts, have demoted the Ping An Finance Center from 2nd to 4th.
